Thomas Kimbrell

About
Hi, I’m Thomas. Thanks for visiting and welcome to my website where you can learn a little about me. Currently, I live in Los Angeles, having followed opportunity across the country three times now.

Santa Monica, CA

Professional

I am objective and analytical with an advanced education in research and quantitative analysis. I am well practiced at developing, implementing, and improving business systems and processes to maximize efficiency. I am a proactive problem-solver and approach challenges strategically to arrive at the best possible solution.

I would describe myself as a curious lifelong-learner with an entrepreneurial mindset and an inclination for innovation. As a former collegiate wrestler and avid fan of the sport, I was frustrated by the lack of coverage available. So, in 2014, I enlisted the help of some friends and we developed the Centermat Wrestling app—the only app delivering scores, stats, standings, news, rankings, and much more for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and NAIA wrestling.

While acting as Production Supervisor at Compound Clothing, I used my newfound coding skills to develop and scale systems to track inventory, manage data, automate workflows, plan the production calendar, pinpoint production costs, analyze various measures of efficiency, and maximize production capabilities.

Lake Lanier, GA

Personal

Along with my identical twin brother and younger sister, I was born and raised on Lake Lanier in Dawsonville, Georgia—a small town in moonshine country nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia (which many claim to be the birthplace of NASCAR). I am an overeducated, laid-back gent who likes to work hard and have fun. Speaking of fun, I enjoy playing with my son, coaching wrestling, hiking, and spending time at the beach or on the lake.
